Winter Vibes & Offerings

Grounded deeply, I flow.

I’m feeling into winter vibes. The place where winter flows and where it grows still. Taking in winter sights, sounds, smells, taste, touch. How winter holds and let’s go. The slowing down, increased need for sleep and space in my body and being as winter gently arrives. Have you noticed any shifts?

I wonder what forms of care will provide nourishment in a winter of continued isolation for so many. Can we connect with nature’s winter flow to foster more space for rest and care rather than being overly plugged into society’s calls for productivity and improvement?

What forms of practice will support you this season?

Some inquiries to consider to support creating a winter practice:

*What is your current state of energy and well-being?

*What states of energy and well-being are you seeking this winter season?

*What forms of movement, stillness, and practice does your body need and relish to support wellness and care in winter?

I want to explore these inquiries and more together in community and hope you will join me for the winter offerings via my video library as well as on youtube and instagram for reflections/practices that I plan to share there.

In this drop in winter series, we will explore: What forms of movement and stillness do our bodies need and relish in winter to support healing and care?

We will explore meditative movement and stillness with guided suggestions drawing from yoga, qigong, and mindfulness meditation as well as time for self-guided and intuitive movement practice in an offering of care for our bodies and beings.

The space will be held in a way that supports a trauma-responsive approach, self and collective care, and community and connection. The practice can be done seated, standing, lying down, and in all the ways and forms that supports your body and needs.

This offering will hold space space for embodied care in the form of play, movement, dialogue, mindfulness, music, and more with a centering of pleasure activism (a la adrienne maree brown), community, and the intersects of care, pleasure and justice.
